In the name of research, my air rifle was put to use today….

Needless to say, it was a spare 40th head.

HOWEVER, the battle damaged Atomic Man body (it was already in a bad way when I found it!) really is the worse for wear. But, rest assured… its all for a good cause….. I am trying to look dev a character and I want the head in particular to look like it has spent a fair while being used as Air Rifle Fodder before making his break for freedom.

Well, I was watching an auction for a Tom Stone body, and all of a sudden the prices went sky high, so I stood back and watched. I didnt win.
Good job too, it wasnt worth what it went for.

I was bidding because I wanted to get a tatty Tom Stone so that I didn’t have to break my one for scanning. But because lost that auction, I decided to use mine anyway. Needless to say, I didnt break him. I wanted to see what could be done in a none destructive manner.

This is more than adequate for my needs…. I am really pleased with the relationship between the Next Engine and Geomagic. Its as if they were made for each other

So, decided to do a CG kitbash for Tom Stone. Starting of with the old Tank Commanders Jacket from the original range.

Obviously this is a scan, and it needs a lot of work doing to it. Scanned it with the scanner, but did all the post in GeoMagic for a change.

Thanks to Ebay, I found a look for the leads that I really like…

As kit bashes go, I like these a lot. Its a nice look. With so many characters that are all based just a handful of mould variations, I need to be very creative to devise a look for each character that makes him easily identifiable…. and this kit-bash lark looks like a great solution.

Taking a small break away from writing episode guides and back to Toms body. Scanned this this weekend. Needs a clean up, but that’s the easy part

Im back…. 9 weeks in Utah. I took all the project out with me with a view to working all spare evenings on P-P.
