Supporters
None of this would have been possible or will be possible were it not for the continued support from some very import industry related Brands.
First and foremost, I have to acknowledge
Maya 2008 is the key to all of this! Without Autodesk on board, I’d be sat here now pulling my hair out as I get to grips with an unfamiliar 3D aplication…

The actual look and feel for the show needs to come from the original Palitoy Action Figures. Of course, these could have been modelled from scratch, but in order to get the assets to really look and feel like the originals, I am pleased to have support from Next Engine!
All of the action man dolls and props were scanned using the NE desktop scanner.
____
Natural Motion have kindly offerwed support for Endorphin, a tool I have used a lot on shows such as Harry Potter 6, 10,000 bc and Hell Boy II
____
Plowman Craven have been on board since day one. With there support, I am hoping to get real world environments scanned!

PCA have been providing high rez scans for Feature films such as Harry Potter, Stardust and Hell Boy II to name just a few.

Though in its Beta phase at the time of writing this, Topogun has already proved itself to be an incredibly valuable addition to the toolset. Importing the scan data into topogun, I am able to literally draw on the new mesh, generating an animation friendly topology. Other neat features include the ability to generate normal maps etc

No one knows everything, and I am no exception to that rule. However, when I need a refresher on Maya nCloth, dynamics of Z Brush, I always reach for the Digital Tutors discs… You cant beat a crash course that actually delivers in spades.

Much better than looking around Car Boot sales for original items to scan and digitize, Tom Stone offers a great and ever expanding collection of new, repro and original items for sale….

End of the line? Nope, this film festival will just be the beginning….
From here? Who knows
